<everything in sweetieland is made of food. Some of the elements were chosen because they work as visual puns, such as the paddle which is a nod to one of my favourite Czech cartoons, the mole and the lollypop. Others are plays on words such as the bubblegum tree and the bread and butterfly [nodding this time to Lewis Carroll...].

Of course all this sugary niceness can't exist without a monster to chase greedy little children away. For this character I resurrected the memory of Giant Decay, invented in the 50's to frighten children into brushing their teeth with Gibbs tooth powder, which came compacted into tins with a lovely fairy castle on the lid.../>
